Our purpose drives us every day: to enrich the lives of veterans and seniors. About the role: Join us as our new Regional Quality Advisor, role supporting our Sydney Region. This position is responsible for supporting the establishment and maintenance of quality and clinical governance systems and processes across all business functions to ensure a high standard of quality, care and safety. Some of the key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and lead a high performing quality focused culture
Lead the implementation and maintaining of RSLLC Clinical Governance Framework Quality Framework.
Drive the effective engagement and use of local teams with the RSL LifeCare Quality Management Systems
Monitor compliance with quality assurance activities, including audit schedules, and address any issues identified
Assist in preparing responses to external bodies, such as the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, within designated time frames.
Engage with and support National Clinical Governance focus areas, review best practice initiatives, and recommend strategies to improve care standards and effectiveness.
About You:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as in nursing, or other health profession, quality management or related discipline
Minimum of 3 years' Quality Management experience within the health or aged care sector
Able to travel interstate
Ability to build and maintain effective key stakeholder relationships with both internal and external groups
High level interpersonal and influencing skills, including the ability to foster effective working relationships with line managers and gain cooperation in the development and implementation of processes and/or projects.
Proven ability in quality management and regulatory compliance using a team building approach through mentoring, support and staff development
A sound understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and guidelines
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
