You will be working in the Barcaldine region, which is situated in the central west of Queensland, approximately 440 km west of Rockhampton.
Your new role
Supervise and organise the water and wastewater team
Enforce water quality standards, sewerage effluent regulations, and water management practices
Support budget planning and financial requirements
Detect and address issues, maintaining detailed records of all activities
Be available on-call and respond to emergencies during off-duty hours if necessary
Conduct risk assessments
