Experience required:
- At least a Diploma with a focus on hospitality and/or customer service
- A minimum of 3+ years of operational experience in a food and beverage managerial role in a hotel setting in Australia
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other hotel departments
- Experience with operations of breakfast, buffet and bar services is preferred
- Outstanding communication skills
- Passional for hospitality and customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Candidates currently living in ACT is preferred
- Reliable, honest and self-motivated
About the role
As the Second in Charge (SIC) Restaurant Manager for all the food outlets in the hotel, you will
be working 5 days a week and you will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the high-quality service of food and beverage within Restaurant, Bar, Room Service and Functions
- Delivering excellent restaurant “guest experience” from booking, preordering, delivery of food and obtaining customer feedback
- Controlling staffing arrangements and ensuring productivity from staff
- Hiring, training, team-building
- Ordering stock and refilling inventory when necessary
- Overseeing restaurant operations and analysing revenue, cost and profitability
- Ensuring that the restaurant complies with legal requirements
- Planning and organising special functions based on customer request
Remuneration
We are offering a salary of :$70,000.00 - $75,000.00.
