Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager the Production & Supply Chain Analyst will provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making within the supply chain function. This role involves developing financial models, overseeing budgets, conducting performance reviews, and utilising data analytics tools to optimise supply chain operations and drive efficiency.
Key responsibilities required for the role:
Financial Modelling and Forecasting
Analysis and production of reports for the APAC manufacturing leadership team
Ensure production forecast loads are captured in Jack Links ERP (Microsoft BC), owning the process and improving the process.
Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to guide strategic decisions on projects.
Analyse Production data and Meat, Freight & Consumable price data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support the development of CAPEX white papers to help optimise the conversion costs and improve EBITDA.
Budget Management
Own the production Conversion Cost process for all APAC sites, collecting all relevant information and ensuring supply cost increases are captured and highlighted, with suggestions on how to minimise impact.
Oversee and analyse budgets, ensuring accurate allocation of resources and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Own the production with the centralised accounting team to ensure that all P&L reports are accurate and timely for period end reporting.
Provide analysis of production item and site mix – actual vs budget
Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for adjustments using Power BI or Power View dashboards
Financial Reporting
Support the Commercial Manager in producing detailed financial reports for stakeholders.
