The Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Counselling team at Better Health Network (BHN), dedicated to providing specialist therapeutic counselling using evidence-based psychological interventions. Our team has a strong collaborative spirit and has worked together to support diverse client needs, including self-referred individuals, family members, those referred by the criminal justice system, and people facing complex health and social challenges. Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centered, therapeutic evidence-based psychological interventions, including assessment, treatment planning, and referral.
Complete AOD comprehensive assessments and identify clinical treatment and support needs.
Develop treatment plans and facilitate access to various treatment services.
Provide brief interventions and crisis counselling to clients awaiting service access.
Conduct risk assessments and comply with legislative requirements
