Our valued client, West Coast Rewind is an innovative and professional Electro-Mechanical business established over 25 years.
They are looking for Mechanical Fitter (Electro)to join their team of professionals on a full time and permanent basis.
The role includes but is not limited to:
Diagnose, identify and replace faulty or worn components, including seals, bearings, windings etc.
Ensure adherence to appropriate measuring, testing and preparation procedures for all plant, machinery and associated compontrary in accordance with relevant industry/company standards and specifications.
Utilize appropriate drawings and specifications to ensure that the disassembly and assembly of plant, machinery and associated components is completed in accordance with relevant standards, and specification as per clients’ requirements.
Assemble and install motor/associated equipment to relevant specifications.
Ensure that correct parts and materials are used in accordance with relevant plans and all work proceeds are within the scope of works and work schedules.
At all times, work in cooperation with other personnel to ensure that all work is performed professionally, competently, in a timely manner and as instructed.
Supervise the work of Apprentices/Trainees /Trade Assistants in their various roles, installations and procedures.
Immediately report any inability to comply with scope of works/ work schedule to Supervisor.
Adhere to all OH&S policies and procedures of the company and any specific on-site OH&S conditions.
Ensure all personal and company owned equipment and tools are maintained in a clean and good working condition and arrange for the replacement of any damaged or faulty equipment.

Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
Must have great work ethics
Great attention to detail to join our team as mechanical trades assistants and/or motor winders
Industry experience is not essential as training will be provided.
