Pavilion is a successful poultry growing farm based in Carisbrook (Maryborough) and Anakie (Geelong) Victoria. They currently have a network of 8 farms, and are rapidly expanding to build additional farms.
As such we are looking for a Carpenter/Roofing Specialist to join our construction team and also manage repairs and maintenance on our current operational farms.
The Opportunity:
This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday 38-hour weeks
Primary Responsibilities:
OH&S – Preparation of SWMS
Read & interpret Building Drawings and Specifications
Co-ordinate and liaise with other Trades
Estimating, Ordering, Measuring and Cutting Materials
Installation of Safety Mesh
Hanging of doors
Installing Vapor Barriers and Insulation Blanket
Cutting in Roof Penetrations
Safely setting up Access Ladders, Scaffolding, Handrail
Booking Crane Lifts
Operating Tally Handler
Installation of Corodek Roof Sheets, Ridge Capping, Barge / Apron Flashing’s, Down Pipes, Gutters, Upstands
Caulking / Weather Seals
Ongoing Maintenance & Emergency Repairs
Updating the Site Supervisor on job progress / program and reporting any issues
About you:

Good communication skills
Exceptional awareness of safety in the workplace
