Job description:
• Oversee the daily operations of the travel agency, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage, train, and mentor a team of travel consultants.
• Ensure high standards of customer service.
• Address any client concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate and manage travel bookings, itineraries, and reservations for clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, and tour operators.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote travel services and increase client acquisition.
• Monitor and manage budgets, revenue targets, and profitability of the agency.
• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and reporting requirements.
Qualifications/Attributes:
• Must hold an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism management, or a related field or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of the qualification.
• Must have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.
• Strong knowledge of travel booking systems, software, and reservation processes.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
