Responsibilities within the position include: Working under supervision and directive of the Registered Division 1 Nurse (RN) assist in the provision of nursing care. Ensure residents assessments and care plans are updated as care needs change Regularly assess the living environment to identify care, comfort, hygiene security & risk to care recipients Contribute to the continuous care and improvement for care recipients Administer medication to residents Adhere & work within the standards set out by the Aged Crae Quality & Safety Commission. Key Selection Criteria Essential AHPRA registration Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to problem solve as appropriate to the role; Desirable: Previous experience within an Aged Crae environment. Benefits Task & Responsibilities Responsibilities within the position include: Initial and ongoing assessment of care recipients Maintain quality standards Implementation and ongoing assessment of PMP (pain management program) Complete annual mandatory training Adhere to fall prevention strategies as per individual care plan set out by Physiotherapist & RN.
