We are working with our valued client located in the southern suburbs to source long term candidates who are passionate about working for a successful Australian manufacturing company. Are you mechanically minded with experience working in manufacturing and production? Have you considered becoming a machine operator or getting a forklift license? Looking for a career change? On offer is Day shift, 6:30am-2:30pm and Night shift, 10:30pm-6:30am with an immediate start.
Experience that would be beneficial Prior experience in a similar machine operator or production worker role. Alternatively, skills such as the following are transferable;
Hand and power tool experience
Assembly line experience
Warehouse
Picking and packing
Machine operation
Forklift licence
What you will be doing:
Operating carpet manufacturing machinery.
Loading and unloading material on carpet machinery.
Processing of data in relevant systems.
Moving material with a forklift.
Quality control of carpet.
Participate in regular training. Share experiences and cross-train other team members.
Participate in regular operations sessions and contribute in a productive manner.
As required, actively contribute to the continuous improvement, eliminating waste and development of the business.
