Hotel Kununurra is seeking enthusiastic and efficient Food & Beverage Attendants (2 full-time positions available, 38hrs/week).
Our venue consists of a 45-room hotel, sports bar and restaurant for hotel guests and the community. Many of the up to 40 staff also live on-site and this is a very busy hotel to live, work, experience and explore the Kimberley region.
Key responsibilities & requires skills:
• Setting and arranging tables
• Greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists
• Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
• Serving food and beverages
• Opening bottles and pouring beverages
• Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to kitchen
• Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses
• Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers
• Recommend wines to complement food
• Ability to work well within a team environment or autonomously as required
• Ability to be flexible with shifts, a 7-day rotating roster including weekends, evenings and early mornings is required
