DAILY DUTIES AND ROLES:
Planning, preparing, seasoning and cooking food while adhering to dietary requirements when necessary.
Ensuring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparing and presenting food on daily and special events.
Check the freshness of food and ingredients as well as supervise activities of cook and other staff members.
Plan and develop menus, estimate and control the materials cost and demonstrate an appropriate cooking technique to other staff members.
Order and maintain inventory, organize supplies and implement training strategies for trainees.
Observe and taste food to determine the quality and texture of food, develop new recipes and ensure to follow the kitchen safety and legislative standards.
