Permanent stand-alone Accounts Payable Officer Needed to Work for a Leading Sustainable Transport Company Your new company A market leading sustainable transportation client is automating their accounts payable process to enable efficient payment processing. They are therefore seeking a stand-alone experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join them ASAP. Your new role You will be working directly under the guidance of the Senior Accountant and CFO and liaising with the offshore Accounts Payable team. The role involves working with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to help oversee the Accounts Payable and invoice to PO matching process. You will be responsible for:
Supplier creating and management
Monitoring and responding to the AP inbox
Reconciliations of GL
Checking workflow to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Processing high-volumes of invoices alongside the RPA
Assisting with financial reporting including End of Month procedures
Working on reception occasionally
Adhoc duties as required by stakeholders and team members
What you'll need to succeed
Experience within Accounts Payable of at least 4 years with extensive payment processing
Exposure to being a 'lead' within the team and assisting with financial processes
Be tech savy and able to use ERP systems with automation tools embedded
Ideally some exposure to RPA or an interest in AI and automation technologies
High volume invoice processing
Attention to detail
Stakeholder management
