ABOUT THE BRANCH The COMCAR and Programs Branch is responsible for delivering high quality, secure and confidential car-with-driver, and other ground transport services to high profile clients, such as the Governor-General and Prime Minister (both current and former), parliamentarians, members of the Federal Judiciary and other high office holders. Additionally, the Branch provides secretariat support to the Australian Political Exchange Council and administers two grant programs. COMCAR provides ground transport and associated support services to visiting Guests of Government such as Royalty, Heads of State, Heads of Government, and other foreign dignitaries. COMCAR frequently delivers services during major international events, such as the ASEAN Special Summit, Group of Twenty meetings (G20), the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting
