Restaurant Supervisor (PM / Evenings)
Palooka is seeking a restaurant supervisor to join our team of hospitality professionals and assist in leading the day-to-day operations of the venue. Palooka is an established modern all day dining institution with a strong local following.
Currently operating 4 busy dinner services and 6 days for breakfast & lunch.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role and will need to demonstrate a passion and commitment that exemplifies the high levels we are known for.
Specific Requirements:
- Flexibility to work various shifts including week-ends, nights and public holidays.
- Excellent communication skills
- Being a true hospitality professional dedicated to providing customer service excellence
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Knowledge of Australian and International wines
Duties include:
- Ensure a very high level of customer service is delivered to guests at all times. Professional and Memorable.
- Supervise, co-ordinate and train food and beverage staff.
- Ensure food and beverage manuals & daily specials are kept up to date and relevant.
- Ensure excellent presentation of the restaurant at all times.
- Monitor staff performance and communicate effectively during service
- Take reservations, greeting and seating guests.
- Respond to customer requests, handle complaints
annual salary: $70,000 - $75,000 pa
You will be a team player with an eye for detail and have excellent organisational and communication skills. Your ability to work quickly and effectively in an often-fast paced environment whilst maintaining the required standard is essential.
