Task & Responsibilities Perform routine trimming and shoeing procedures in accordance with established best practices and client preferences. Conduct thorough assessments of hoof health and structure to identify and address any abnormalities or issues. Collaborate closely with clients, veterinarians, and other equine professionals to develop customized hoof care plans. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and innovations in equine hoof care techniques and products. Maintain accurate records of client appointments, services provided, and any pertinent observations or recommendations. Qualification & Experience Completion of a recognized farrier apprenticeship program or equivalent formal training. Certification from a reputable farrier association is highly preferred. Proven experience working as a farrier, with a diverse portfolio of successfully treated cases. Proficiency in safely handling and restraining horses of various temperaments and sizes. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and communicate with clients. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
