Cook [Pakistani Cuisine]

Pak Gallery Restaurant is located in the old wool sheds offering Pakistani food with its traditional taste, flavour and aroma in a beautifully renovated building. The restaurant has capacity for 100 diners, specialising in Pakistani cuisine.

The restaurant opens from Wednesday through to Sunday, and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

You will be required to:
• Work with management to develop menus that reflect Pakistani cuisine
• Prepare and cook food to order
• Plate dinners for diners that showcases the food
• Examine foodstuffs to ensure quality
• Ensure food is stored appropriately in temperature controlled facilities
• Prepare food to meet special dietary requirements
• Order foodstuffs ensuring quality products

Skills and Qualifications
• A Certificate III or certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in a commercial cooking environment
• Ideally you will have experience in preparing the following types of cuisines:
• Pakistani Banquet and Barbeque
• Mughali
• You will also have experience in al a carte dining.
