ERINFAIR PTY LTD seeks experienced Chefs/Cooks.
Duties & Responsibilities
Demonstrate understanding of food preparation and production in the kitchen whilst taking direction from the Head Chef to ensure smooth operation of all kitchen duties.
Ensures the consistency of all menu items regardless of time of day or period of service
Liaising with Chefs, Cooks and Kitchen Assistants to achieve smooth delivery of food to guests
Operation of kitchen equipment to achieve required results for ala carte and function service
Work with the Head Chef to advance and improve current food operations
Has understanding of stock control and works together with the kitchen team to minimize wastage
Compliance and understanding of food safety policy and procedures (HACCP)
Qualifications and Experience
Previous commercial kitchen experience is required for these roles – ideally at least 2 years of experience
All relevant experience will be considered and for applicants with a relevant Australian trade certificate or qualification / training, less experience will be considered
A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude and ability to work well in a team
The ability to excel under pressure in a high-volume environment with excellent problem-solving skills
Well developed communication and team skills
Attention to detail with a focus on consistency
Salary
The Annual Salary is $73,150 - $85,000 commensurate to qualifications, skills, & experience.
