Raes on Wategos luxury boutique hotel and dining room is seeking a qualified and professional full-time Dining room/Restaurant Manager to lead our team on a full-time basis.

Salary: $70,000-$80,000 + Superannuation

Main Responsibilities:

• Managing and controlling daily operations of the restaurant
• Liaising with business owner and chefs to create new menu items, recipes and dishes ensuring more variety and quality. This also involves ensuring the purchasing and pricing of new dishes is according to budget.
• Purchasing of goods, stock control and managing the budget
• Analysing the weekly sales & inventory report to improve the business.
• Organising and managing special events.
• Monitoring quality of services delivered and food quality served at all time through conferring customer’s satisfaction with meals. 
• Recruiting, training, and developing F&B workers; monitoring performance; and, if needed, encouraging improvement.
• Promoting and encouraging a high level of customer service amongst staff
• Making improvements to the running of the business and developing marketing strategies to attract new customers
• Complying with food hygiene and WHS regulations. 
• When necessary, address customers queries, concerns and feedback and assess whether they are satisfied with meals and service as well as customer feedback follow-up.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience of 2-3 years in restaurant management
• Tertiary degree in hospitality or related field 
• Previous restaurant/fine-dining operations experience in an international luxury hotel or resort
