The Opportunity
Moonee Valley is seeking dedicated and experienced Parks Maintenance Officers to join our Parks and Gardens team. In this role, you will ensure the maintenance, management, and enhancement of the Council's parks and reserves, ensuring high-quality civic amenities and public safety. You will play a crucial role in maintaining green spaces and leading efforts to enhance public enjoyment of our natural areas.
Responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current horticulture and parks maintenance practices, tools, and equipment
Operate and maintain machinery, tools, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and according to manufacturers specifications for maximum preservation and presentation. This includes performing safety checks and reporting any defects.
