Seeking Protection Engineer to oversee our Client's protection design and development for substations, wind/solar farms and battery energy storage systems.
In this role you will:
Design, review protection systems and interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications and scopes.
Calculate and review specific protection and control settings, configurations, testing and commissioning procedures across a variety of protection types.
Provide advice on product development and process changes to improve system performance.
Problem solve, identify best practice solutions to meet project requirements.
Liaise with external and internal teams, clients and vendors.
About you:
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Previous experience in Mining or Power Industry.
Ability to interpret protection system requirements, create functional design specification, produce protection and control device settings and configuration files.
Ability to produce technical reports and specification writing.
Experience with Siemens Siprotec 5 or SEL protection relays
