J.N. & R. Engineering Pty. Limited are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Pressure Welder to join their team in Kyabram VIC 3620.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Adhere to WHS
- Ability to read and interpret drawings to a high standard and recognising pressure welding specifications
- Set up equipment and weld parts, using appropriate pressure welding equipment and methods
- Proficiency in all types of pressure welding
- Ability to use Heavy machinery such as Booms & Scissor Lifts
- Weld and repair pressure vessels and tanks to relevant standards and high quality.
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
- Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
- Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting
- Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision
- Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions
- Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiseling and grinding
Skills and Abilities:
- Certificate III in Engineering-Fabrication Trade or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience.
