The main purpose of the Project Control Director is to optimise project success by delivering against agreed program objectives. Some of the key specifications we attribute to the purpose include:
- Coordinate and lead a team of project control professionals.
- Planning, monitoring, and controlling of project performance.
- Develop and manage project control systems, including scheduling, risk and cost control (knowledge of Primavera P6 and cost control systems).
- Carry out risk management strategies to mitigate potential project issues.
- Provide accurate information to support data driven decision-making.
- Ensure consistent collection, analysis, and reporting of project data with knowledge of tools like Power BI.
- Track project progress and identify potential delays or cost overruns.
- Implement best practices and standards for project controls.
