We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Allocator to join our client in the transportation sector, located in the heart of Wetherill Park. Our client values a positive attitude, loyalty, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities as the Transport Allocator:
Develop efficient transport routes to optimise delivery times and reduce costs.
Assign loads to drivers and vehicles based on capacity, availability, and delivery schedules.
Act as a liaison between drivers, customers, and other departments to provide updates and resolve issues.
Address and resolve any transport-related issues, such as delays, vehicle breakdowns, or route changes.
Requirements:
Proven experience within a Transport Allocator role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication abilities
A positive and proactive attitude
