The Job Role
Bunbury Farmers Markets seeks experienced Butchers.
Duties & Responsibilities
Cuts, trims, tenderizes, and grinds meat using various equipment.
Maintains equipment for daily use.
Cleans and sanitizes work area and equipment throughout the workday.
Assists with wrapping meat, stocking the meat case, and arranging the display case.
Assesses the production needs and rotates merchandise.
Follows proper safety procedures and standards. Maintains the sales area.
Complies with health code by following sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures.
Qualifications and Experience
At least 5 years of experience
All relevant experience will be considered and for applicants with a relevant Australian trade certificate or qualification / training, less experience will be considered
A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude and ability to work well in a team
The ability to excel under pressure in a high-volume environment with excellent problem-solving skills
Well-developed communication and team skills
Attention to detail with a focus on consistency
Salary
The Annual Salary is $73,150 - $75,000 commensurate to qualifications, skills, & experience.
