The role of the Facility Supervisor is to ensure that Rombola Family Farms fresh produce is handling correctly to meet our customer specifications, requirements including grading, packing, cool chain, hygiene, and dispatch.
Key operational accountabilities include:
• Assess incoming product regarding quality and determine grading resources.
• Monitor quality of product through various stages in production shed, washing 1st, 2nd, and final grading.
• Rectify any issues due to mechanical damage/grading quality.
• Liaise with Supply Chain, Sales and Row Cropping team
• Ensure all Quality Assurance (QA) records are correct, allowing for complete traceability.
• Manage correct cool chain when handling and despatching of product.
• Ensure all waste products are handled as per standard produce.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
• Qualifications in Production Horticulture and /or Agriculture is highly desired and at least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
• ChemCert Certification is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Initiative and integrity.
• Team player.
• Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets.
• A current driver’s licence.
