Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair faults in automatic and manual transmission systems.
• Overhaul and repair transmission assemblies, including clutches, gearboxes, and driveline components.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of transmission systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Test and adjust transmission systems and components to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements related to transmission systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in the workshop.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
• Relevant qualification in Automotive Technology or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an Automotive Transmission Technician or similar role.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, particularly in transmission systems.
• Familiarity with automotive repair tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
