Our client, ECS Technolab, is currently seeking an Analyst Programmer to join their team on a full-time basis. Located in Adelaide, South Australia. ECS Technolab offers a structured series of tests to evaluate functional, environmental aspects, and component reliability before final approval by certification authorities. The Analyst Programmer will be in charge of analysing user needs, producing requirements documentation and system plans, and encoding, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting programs and applications.
The annual salary for the role is $75,000-$85,000 plus superannuation.
Responsibilities include:
• Must work with business stakeholders and program team members to map, analyse, and document business processes, policies, and existing systems.
• Develop documentation, such as business cases, investment proposals, benefits realisation plans, and business requirements, and provide input for various project deliverables.
• Lead the requirements-gathering processes for the projects. Create the design and documentation of technical and business requirements.
• Guide departments to elicit, define, and document current state requirements in the form of business process maps, process flows, user stories, and business rules.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions through effective and efficient analysis, including the development of process (workaround) solutions where system limitations exist.
• Participate and lead system testing activities to ensure technical and process solutions function as expected.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. Participate in system testing, debugging, and documentation activities.
Qualifications:
• Must hold an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate IV in Automotive.
• Must have at least two to five (2-5) years of relevant experience and have proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Well-versed with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Demonstrated business analyst experience working within IT Projects / Programs with proven ability to create documentation including process maps and business requirements and provide input to a range of other project deliverables.
