Tweed Shire Council Laboratory Centre is a water and soil environmental testing laboratory that services the Tweed and various external clients. This position manages the overall operations of the Tweed Laboratory Centre. About the role:
Operate Councils NATA-accredited laboratory as a viable commercial activity that conducts analytical testing of water and soil using best practice quality control and assurance management measures.
Enhance the capacity of the laboratory to improve the services available in identified areas of expertise and provide an advisory service to internal and external clients.
Develop the annual budget for the Tweed Laboratory Centre and reconcile expenditure and revenue across this budget quarterly.
