• Accommodation and Tenancy Assistance
• Daily Life Assistance
• NDIS Assistance
• Support Coordination

Australian Disability Services seeks Disability Services Officer for provide education and community access to people with intellectual, physical, social and emotional disabilities. This role requires a high level of skill, typically commensurate with a Diploma in Community Services including Cert IV in Disability Support Work as well as Cert III in Individual Support.
Min 1-year work experience in the relevant field.
Turkish language skills will be preferable.


Duties:
• Assessing clients' needs and planning, developing and implementing educational, training and support programs
• Providing care and support to individuals with physical disabilities, mental health issues and learning di?culties.
• Meeting regularly with clients to support case plan accomplishment and re-evaluate goals.
• Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams such as Social Services, GPs.
• Conducting performance reviews, set goals and objectives for team members, and provided feedback on their progress.
• Organising transport for medical appointments and other activities as required.
• Liaising with family members regarding the care needs of their loved ones.
• Monitoring changes in client's physical or psychological condition and reported any concerns promptly.
• Assisting clients in developing daily living skills such as budgeting, cooking and cleaning.
• Facilitating group activities designed to enhance social interaction, self-esteem and confidence building skills.
• Conducting home visits on a regular basis to assess the well-being of service users.
• Developing positive behavioural management plans for challenging behaviour.
• Developing individual case plan with goals, objectives, and activities to meet client needs.
• Collaborated with other departments to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Attending case conferences, meetings, training sessions and workshops as required.
• Actively promoting equal opportunities principles within the workplace environment.
• Assisting with the development of business plans for upcoming projects.
• Managing budgets and cash ?ow by monitoring expenditures and predicting future needs.


Skills:
Diploma in Community Services including Certificate IV in Disability Support Work as well as Certificate III in Individual Support
Minimum 1-year work experience in the relevant field
Turkish language skills will be preferable
