As a Multimedia News Producer / Journalist for Nine News Adelaide, you will work in a dynamic newsroom, supporting the gathering, creation and broadcast of high-quality news content across multiple platforms, which informs, educates, and engages our viewers and followers.
Your day to day responsibilities include but won't be limited to:
- Creating TV news bulletin rundowns and being a part of the process involved in putting them to air.
- Support the News Production Team in creating audience-focused content for all news platforms.
- Assist with content development, including researching, scripting, editing and output to multiple platforms.
- Help identify stories and angles that will resonate with our audience.
- Ensure content accuracy by fact-checking material and supporting legal compliance.
- Coordinate with on-air talent and News Managers during broadcasts to address any real-time issues.
- Assist in problem-solving any issues that arise during the news bulletin to maintain broadcast integrity.
- Help manage multiple projects, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to be trained in all aspects of news production and, eventually, branch out into other news roles.
