Our Esteemed Client - KENILWORTH COUNTRY BAKERY PTY LTD t/a Kenilworth Bakery is seeking passionate and experienced full-time Bakers and Pastry cooks to join their renowned team. With a competitive salary package ranging from AUD 70-80K per annum plus superannuation, negotiable for the right candidate, this opportunity allows individuals to work in one of the Sunshine Coast's most iconic bakeries.

Scope of the Role:
-Mixing, preparing, weighing and measuring ingredients for the preparation of goods.
- Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings, etc., ensures the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
- Glazing buns and pastries and decorating cakes with cream and icing
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc. and make appropriate orders within budget for management.
- Contributing ideas to the menu & Have involvement in seasonal pastry menu development.
- Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
- Complying with food hygiene and safety requirements.
-Keep a sanitised and orderly environment in the kitchen.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
- Keeping accurate records.
- Operating a variety of kitchen equipment.
- Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work even environment.
- Plan & prepare the production and schedule.


To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Availability on both weekend days and flexibility to work split shifts
- Preferably hold a Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or a relevant field
- Be a qualified Baker with 2-3 years of hands-on experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to relocate if currently residing interstate or in other cities
