Kingfield Galvanizing are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Plant Production Engineer to join their team in Somerton VIC 3062.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels of spare parts are available
- Maintain up to date service records for all service and repair work.
- Minimise operational downtime of equipment.
- Review maintenance protocols and standards
- Update and/or document Standard Operstion Procedures as required
- Preparing or reviewing SWMS, JSA
- Undertake chemical analysis and system dosing as per agreed schedule and document results
- Issue work scopes and instructions for other subcontractors to assist you in maintaining the plant.
- Promote a safety first, zero harm culture – champion safety with your colleagues and customers.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Plant Production Engineer
- Tertiary qualification in relevant field
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong focus on safe work and supervision to ensure safety
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise the completion of maintenance tasks with experience minimising downtime
- Good communication and customer services skills
- Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders including the productions team and external contractors
Salary range is $70,000-$90,000pa commensurate with experience
