The Job Role
Due to rapid growth and recently awarded long term secured contracts, our Brisbane Team in Rockhampton, Queensland are seeking experienced and driven Surveyors or Surveying Technicians to join the team and play an integral part in the successful delivery of various building and civil roadworks projects in Brisbane and surrounding areas. You will get to work with a talented team and with some of the industry’s best and exposure to a diverse range of construction projects and deliver on various high profile complex road and rail projects in the Greater Brisbane Region.
Reporting to the QLD State Manager, you will be required to work independently and deliver on a diverse range of infrastructure projects covering bridges, roads, rail, and civil projects. In return, you will be supported by an experienced team and work with some of the industry’s best.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Delivering building and civil roadworks projects to a high standard
* Management and control of survey documentation in line with the project requirements
* Undertaking building and civil surveys including construction, road set-out and audits, as constructed and feature surveys
* Maintaining survey equipment
* Keeping accurate records
* Working closely and collaboratively with the site team to efficiently deliver the project.
Qualifications & Requirements
* A Diploma or degree in surveying
* 2+ years post qualification surveying experience
* Right to live and work in Australia
* Leica equipment and 12D model/field experience desirable
* A strong understanding of building, civil and road projects is desirable
* The ability to work autonomously and in a team
* Confidence working with clients and subcontractors on site
* A current drivers’ license
* A white card
Salary & Rewards
* Annual Salary Range is from $75,000 to $130,000 commensurate to qualifications, skills, & experience.
