Civmec are currently seeking experienced Drainers to join the team working across various construction and maintenance projects.
The Role
• Installing below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems
• Excavate and level to line, depth and grade according to drawings and specifications;
• Set out and install below ground concrete and PVC sanitary and storm-water pipes;
• Carry out site drainage and dewatering procedures, employing storm-water, sub-soil and pumped systems;
• Test drainage systems;
• Locate and clear blockages in below ground systems;
• Install excavation supports in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements;
• Dig trenches to desired, or required depths by hand or using trenching tools or machinery.
• The ability to interpret and fabricate using isometric drawing to the required standards and specifications
• Complete ITP’s and follow quality control systems and techniques including daily fit up reports.
• Mark and record joint and spool numbers including material heat numbers
About You
• You will be based in Perth, Western Australia
• Relevant trade qualification or 3 years relevant experience
• Working a heights ticket (desirable)
• Elevated Work Platform (desirable)
• Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
• Complete a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening
