Glenroy Exhaust Centre is currently looking to employ an experienced and qualified Vehicle Body Builder to join their workshop in Campbellfield VIC 3061.
The successful applicants will need to undertake:
- Construct vehicle sections in several materials using shaping machines and cutting and welding equipment
- Select, cut and sew pieces of fabric, vinyl and leather using heavy-duty sewing machines
- Modify assembly line vehicles to special requirements
- Bolt, screw, rivet and weld vehicle sections together
- Preparing new vehicle trim work
- Instal internal trim in vehicles such as lining, floor coverings and armrests
- Attach door trims, rubber seals, locks and handles
Skills & Attributes:
- Certificate III in relevant trade
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Vehicle Body Builder
- Ability to read and interpret drawings to a high standard
- Safety first attitude
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with skills and experience
