Educational facilities – Primary, Secondary and Tertiary – both complete schools and add-ons such as gymnasiums, administration on and additional classrooms
Health – Hospitals and multi-story car parks as allied structures
Residential - High rise apartments and townhouses.
Housing – Nursing homes, aged care facilities and disability housing.

This experience has given Mackie Pty Ltd a great level of understanding of the requirements and outcomes required by our clients and has allowed us to develop systems and methodologies to expedite the construction on process, thereby providing cost and me savings to the project. Over more than 75 years Mackie has built an enviable reputation on as a quality construction on firm with an outstanding safety record and rigorous project management skills.
This role is dynamic, requiring a blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and project management abilities. The day-to-day tasks of a Site Manager may vary depending on the project and phase of construction.

Key Responsibilities:
-Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.
-Reviewing projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
-Coordinating and supervising construction workers.
-Selecting tools and materials and ordering and purchasing materials appropriately.
-Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and reporting issues.
-Managing the use of construction equipment and machinery.
-Resolving problems and implementing improvements in construction processes.
-Maintaining communication between project managers, site staff, and clients.

Daily Tasks including the following but not limit to:
-Planning daily work schedules and coordinating workers on site.
-Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
-Supervising and providing guidance to construction workers and subcontractors.
-Ensuring materials are supplied and work is completed on schedule.
-Preparing and submitting project estimates and budgets.
-Documenting and reporting progress to stakeholders and adhering to compliance regulations.

Education and Certifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in building science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
-At least 2 years of work experience in construction management or a similar role.
-In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
-Familiarity with construction and project management software.
-Strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve are essential for the role.

Annual salary: $126,000 + superannuation (Full-time 40h/week)
