Your new role:
Lead and develop a high performing team, fostering collaboration, innovation with open communication and knowledge sharing.
Establish clear management principles ensuring that the team follow business processes to meet strategic business goals.
Promote a strong safety culture by driving Safety in Design (SiD) awareness and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.
Oversee capital and non-capital project pipelines, engaging the engineering team and guarantee customer focused, fit for purpose design solutions.
Enhance engineering capabilities to deliver high-quality investigations, specifications and scoping for SA Water's capital projects.
Provide timely, cost-effective engineering services that align with Systems Engineering requirements and exceed customer expectations.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, leadership and project partners to ensure technical excellence and alignment with value for money principles.
Drive continuous improvement within engineering processes, by cultivating a culture of service excellence, promoting knowledge sharing, optimising workflows and building strong professional relationships.
As a point of contact for the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineering from different stakeholders, this will be an integral leading role within the engineering solutions team, you will need the following to be successful:
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
Experience in Hydraulic engineering will be highly beneficial.
Demonstrated experience in Project Management or qualifications.
Demonstrated experience in preparation of Reports and Technical writing.
Extensive experience in leadership with a proven ability to build and lead high performing teams.
Recognition of discipline expertise by Engineers Australia is essential.
