Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 per year + superannuation

Iconic 21 year old venue, the European, located at Spring Street end of the Melbourne CBD.
Sitting opposite the Victorian grandeur of Parliament House our three venues have gained iconic status
amongst Melbournians and visitors alike.

serve honest, simple food, sourcing only the best produce from Australia and Europe.
About the role
We are looking for a motivated and passionate Chef to work with us on a full-time basis.
You will work closely with the Head Chef of the European to have input in menu design around the
seasons and the ability to develop your career within our group.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
-Demonstrated experience working as a qualified chef or cook in a fast-paced, high-pressure
kitchen environment
-Excellent pan skill, solid knowledge of sauces with a creative flair
-Have the desire to be involved in menu development including creating specials
-A strong understanding of ordering and stock rotation, including stock take
-Ensure cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and surrounds
Key Selection Criteria
- 3+ years’ full time work experience
-AQF Certificate III or higher
- Exceptional organisation, communication and time management skills
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to work as part of a team, and unsupervised
