Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Field Operations: Assist with the delivery of plant, equipment, and materials to various project sites.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Servicing and Repairs: Undertake servicing of plant and equipment. If necessary, coordinate with external mechanics for more complex repairs.
Logistics: Operate trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment and materials as needed.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment, materials, and maintenance activities.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Mechanical Experience: Previous experience in mechanics is highly desirable.
HR License: Must possess a Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s license to operate trucks.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of plant and equipment maintenance and repair.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
