About the role
As the Afternoon Shift Leading Hand, you are responsible for the day-to-day distribution and logistics operations of the shift. You will work collaboratively with the Day shift Supervisor and Operations Manager to implement the operational targets for the site, support the local deployment of operational processes and procedures as well as operational excellence methodologies to achieve a safe and efficient working environment.
It's important that you are a people and safety-centric leader, who has a continuous improvement and innovative mindset. You will develop and lead a highly capable team and drive best practice.
You will also have:
Experience leading a team in a Logistics or warehouse environment
Implementing a high-performance culture in operations
Championing a strong safety culture
