About the role
As a Leisure Planning & Strategy Officer, you will play a key role in shaping our community's leisure and recreational spaces. Your expertise will help drive the research, planning, and implementation of strategies that turn public areas into vibrant hubs that foster healthy lifestyles and community connections.
Reporting to the Coordinator Recreation, you will lead the development and execution of the City?s Community Infrastructure Strategy and Action Plan, ensuring the sustainability of public amenities and services.

Research and analyse community needs to identify trends in leisure, recreation, and public spaces.
Develop actionable strategies that align with community expectations and improve recreational facilities and services.
Manage and coordinate sport, recreation, and public space projects.
Conduct feasibility studies, needs analysis, project reviews, and business planning.
