About the Team
Reporting to the Team Lead Paint and Liners, you will be part of the greater Surface Technology team working alongside six Painters and Trades Assistants. This team forms part of the RDA Production team which includes the Weld Shop, Prototype Shop, Assembly teams and Armour Shop.
About the Role
As part of the RDA Surface Technology Team; the Liner Bonder is responsible for the preparation and adhesive bonding/sealing of ballistic protection liner to armoured vehicles and components to the Adhesive Bonding Standard TLA .
As a Liner Bonder , you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
Surface preparation and adhesive bonding of liner to the Adhesive Bonding TLA standard;
Assisting EAEs with process compliance to the TLA (material, work area and tooling management, process/quality control);
Surface preparation/pretreatment of armour steel assemblies prior to surface coatings;
