About the Role
Title: Motor Mechanic
Location: Dandenong, VIC, 3175
Employment Type: Permanent full time
Salary: $75,000 per annum + superannuation
As a Motor Mechanic at Reliance Auto Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our clients’ vehicles. Key duties include:
Mechanical repairs and maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain petrol engines and mechanical components of light motor vehicles, including transmissions, suspension systems, steering, and brakes.
Vehicle diagnostics: Use modern diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring accurate and efficient resolutions.
Scheduled servicing: Conduct logbook servicing and routine maintenance to keep vehicles in peak condition.
Compliance and safety: Adhere to all industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining a high standard of safety and quality in all repair and maintenance work.
Customer interaction: Clearly explain technical issues and repairs to customers, providing honest recommendations and exceptional service.
About You
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic who brings both technical expertise and a proactive approach to maintaining and repairing a variety of light motor vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in automotive mechanical technology and have hands-on experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. You will be someone who is passionate about delivering top-quality work, committed to safety and compliance, and able to effectively communicate with both team members and customers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Certificate III and IV in automotive mechanical technology or similar
A minimum of two (2) years of practical experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
