About the Opportunity
This is a newly created role, reporting to the Director, Early Years. We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) skilled and experienced in Early Childhood Development (ECD) to manage a portfolio of projects aimed at elevating the voices of children and families, advocating for change and raising awareness about the value of the workforce at national, state and community levels.
The primary focus of the role will involve (but not limited to):
- Partnership mapping and relationship building with various stakeholder groups .
- Grant and financial management including contract negotiation, and financial tracking of programs of work.
- Preparation of Board proposals and reporting
- Provide technical insights to support the co-design initiatives aimed at ensuring that policies and programs respond to the needs of all families and children in Australia
- Collaborate with research centres/technical partners to generate data and insights to influence change at a national, state and community levels
The Early Years team is based in Perth, WA. However, for the ideal candidate, we are open to considering locations in other states across Australia, if candidates have the ability to travel to Perth regularly. Candidates must also have full working rights in Australia to be considered.
