The Role:
The Department requires multiple Cyber Security Engineers to play a pivotal role in driving the uplift of cyber security maturity and enhancing security operations. The Cyber Security Engineers will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement advanced security measures and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in cyber security.
The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for delivering:
Developing and implementing strategies to uplift the Departments cyber security maturity, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Collaborate with the Security Operations Centre to enhance threat detection, incident response, and recover processes.
Conduct comprehensive security assessments and risk analysis, identifying gaps and recommending solutions to mitigate risks.
Evaluate, implement, and optimise security tools to ensure effective monitoring and protection.
Drive continuous improvements in cyber security processes, controls and technologies to achieve higher levels of security maturity.
