We have an exciting opportunity for two Case Managers / Youth Advocates to join and engage with our client's programs supporting young groups and their families. We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced professionals with a deep understanding of therapeutic care and youth mental health. As a Case Manager / Youth Advocate, you'll play a vital role in empowering young people to overcome obstacles, develop life skills, and thrive. Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centered support to children and young people aged 10-17 years, focusing on their individual needs and well being.
Manage casework to help children and young people develop life skills, engage in social activities, and re-engage with education and training programs.
Work closely and sensitively with protective caregivers, families, and other support networks, maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Oversee maintenance of databases and ensure accurate record-keeping of Service User information.
Essential requirements:
Employee Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Current or willingness to obtain a National Police Check
Valid Australian driver's license
Current First Aid Certificate
Youth Mental Health First Aid (desirable but not essential)
About You:
Minimum 12 months of experience working with young people, particularly those who have experienced trauma.
Qualifications in Youth Work, Community Services, or a related field (nationally accredited).
Strong ability to connect and build rapport with young individuals while maintaining professionalism.
Skilled in managing difficult behaviours and situations using therapeutic approaches.
Committed to providing client-focused services that lead to positive outcomes.
