About the Branch
The Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) Scheme offers landholders, communities and businesses the opportunity to run projects in Australia that avoid the release of greenhouse gas emissions or remove and sequester carbon from the atmosphere. ACCU Scheme: Vegetation and Analytics Branch supports the administration of projects that sequester carbon through the restoration, regeneration and protection of native forest and plantation forestry. The Branch is also responsible for the delivery of geospatial services to the ACCU Scheme, and providing analysis and reporting in support of the whole ACCU Scheme.
