Position: Chef

Key Responsibilities:
• Innovatively planning and designing menus while managing food and labour costs, and overseeing food supply orders to align with our ever-evolving culinary offerings.
• Ensuring the highest quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation, maintaining our reputation for excellence.
• Collaborating with management and both kitchen and waiting staff to discuss culinary processes and guest feedback to continually refine dining experiences.
• Demonstrating advanced cooking techniques and providing guidance on culinary practices to uphold our high standards.
• Spearheading and enforcing stringent hygiene and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining and working environment.
• Participating in the selection and training of kitchen staff to foster a skilled and knowledgeable team.
• Exploring new ways to enhance the dining experience, such as introducing innovative dishes and improving service efficiency.
• Managing food preservation, including freezing and other techniques, to ensure quality and extend the usability of ingredients, aligning with our commitment to sustainability and waste reduction.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant culinary field.
