THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team as a fulltime, permanent employee at our manufacturing facility in Fairfield East.
As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for upholstering and finishing commercial office furniture to meet the highest quality standards. This is a great opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to the production of modern and stylish furniture designs.
Responsibilities:
- Upholster and finish commercial office furniture according to specifications
- Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all upholstery work
- Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Upholsterer, preferably in a manufacturing or furniture production environment
- Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret furniture specifications and drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Salary:
$65,000 - $75,000 per annum
